In this position you will be part of a team which is primarily focused on R&D. The aim is to lead internationally the Cranio Maxillo Facial market with a constantly increasing number of innovative products. You will be responsible for the design and development of new implants and instruments, as well as for improvements and modifications of existing implants and instrumentation. You will participate in and/or lead new product development project teams comprised of interdisciplinary members and will work closely with surgeons, sales and market development. You will collaborate with the technical engineering office, generate product models, concept layouts, and prints using CAD software. You will maintain awareness of surgical and clinical trends. Information exchange and collaboration between internal, local, external and foreign partners is critical.
Ideally you are:
- experienced engineer with + 5 years of practical experience, preferably in a regulated industry (medtech, car industry, fine mechanics, etc.).
- self-motivated with willingness to take ownership in your projects.
- creative, problem-solver with excellent communication skills and strong leadership ability.
- engineering with higher degree.
- excellent in English with Working knowledge of spoke and written German.
You should have a keen interest in the interrelations between medicine and technology and a strong desire to work in a global company. A willingness to travel approximately 25%.
